East Parmenter Street
Newburgh, New York
Monica managed the public relations, branding, marketing, sales model facilitation, and sales operations for this project. New Urban Connections assisted with market research, created collateral materials, and oversaw development of the neighborhood’s website.
New Urbanist developer LeylandAlliance LLC joined forces with Habitat of Humanity of Greater Newburgh to pioneer a mixed income, workforce, and Habitat of Humanity housing development on a one-acre site across the street from Washington’s Headquarters in historic Newburgh. Prepared by noted architect Michael Watkins of Duany, Plater-Zyberk & Company (“DPZ”), the master plan for East Parmenter Street includes a series of 24 residences in this remarkable neighborhood of historic, natural and manmade amenities. Union Studio is the design architect for the homes.
The neighborhood also features two pocket parks, historically-designed street lamps, underground utilities and city water and sewer. Homes include single-family detached homes, town homes, and multi-family homes. Residents consist of working families who have a keen desire to obtain the American Dream of home ownership.
