Monica V. Johnson developed the marketing budget and sales operations manual for The Town of Whitehall. She oversaw the execution of the marketing plan to prepare for the commencement of sales, working with the on-site sales team and leading the creative teams. She conducted sales immersion training for the sales staff at her home in East Beach, introducing the experience and sales techniques of traditional neighborhood development.

Project Details

The Town of Whitehall, located in Southern New Castle County, Delaware, is creating a new town based on the principles of Traditional Neighborhood Development and providing a new option for people to live their lives in a walkable, connected community. Whitehall Ventures, a development partnership of The Welfare Foundation, Eastern States Development Company, and EDiS Company

will develop a series of seven interconnected villages and hamlets on a 2,000-acre site with historically authentic architecture, recreational amenities, retail/commercial space and civic buildings such as schools and churches. The first phase, Village 1, is comprised of approximately 500 residential units and 79,000 s.f. of retail/office/commercial space.
